US Vice President JD Vance announces birth of fourth child
US Vice President JD Vance announced Sunday that his wife had given birth to their fourth child, a son.
Vance, 41, said in a post on X that Usha Vance and the baby were happy and healthy, and that their other children were overjoyed to meet their little brother.
The vice president is now the father of three boys and one girl, all under the age of 10.
At an anti-abortion rally in January 2025, Vance said: "I want more babies in the United States of America." He also pledged at that rally to make life more affordable for families with children.
Many members of President Donald Trump's administration are proponents of large families, but the administration has not yet delivered on that affordability pledge.
