Iranian state television said at least one American projectile hit Iranshahr airport after three explosions were heard around the airport.

Iranian state media reported strikes on two bridges, a railway station and an airport in southern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian state TV said three people were killed in strikes on bridges in Hormozgan province.

Kuwait said its air defences were again responding to missile and drone attacks, and Bahrain sounded air raid sirens.

US forces boarded a ship in the Gulf of Oman and said three vessels had been redirected since the blockade resumed.

US Central Command said American forces boarded a ship in the Gulf of Oman as part of a renewed blockade of Iranian ports and redirected three vessels.

Iranian state media reported explosions in Bushehr and attacks around Ahvaz, and later reported strikes on an airport, a railway station in Bandar Abbas and two bridges in southern Iran.

US Central Command said US forces launched strikes against Iran for a sixth consecutive night from 1800 GMT to further degrade Iranian military capabilities.

A security official said a drone struck a ship off Basra in southern Iraq, while Iraq's oil ministry said an object was reported near a tanker but no fire or damage occurred.

The White House said President Donald Trump remained open to diplomacy with Iran and that talks were continuing despite renewed hostilities.

Iranian news agencies reported US strikes around Qeshm island near the Strait of Hormuz.

Yemen's Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi threatened attacks on Saudi oil facilities and other infrastructure if the conflict escalated between the two sides.
