UAE halts trade and financial transactions with Iran
The United Arab Emirates halted trade and financial transactions with Iran on Tuesday, adding an economic measure amid tensions with Tehran.
Earlier Tuesday, the UAE defence ministry accused Iran of firing two ballistic missiles toward the country and later said assessments showed the missiles were aimed at maritime navigation in the Gulf. Iran had not immediately commented on that accusation.
