TotalEnergies says quarterly net profit doubled to $5.4 billion
TotalEnergies said its net profit doubled in the second quarter, helped by high hydrocarbon prices that it linked to the conflict in the Middle East.
The French oil and gas company said in a statement that net profit was $5.4 billion for the April-to-June period, up from $2.7 billion in the same period a year earlier.
