Texas Apache helicopter crash kills two US soldiers
Two US soldiers were killed Wednesday when an AH-64E Apache attack helicopter based at Fort Hood crashed in Salado, Texas, the base said.
Fort Hood said personnel remained at the scene with local first responders. The soldiers' identities were being withheld until their next of kin were notified.
The cause of the crash was not given. The crash came about two months after a US Air Force B-52 bomber crashed in California, killing all eight people on board.
