Romanian F-16 destroys explosive marine drone, minister says
A Romanian F-16 fighter jet destroyed a marine drone hundreds of metres from the Neptun Deep offshore gas project on Thursday, Defence Minister Radu Miruta said.
Miruta said on Facebook that the drone was loaded with explosives and did not originate from Ukraine.
The incident involved Romania, a NATO member that borders Ukraine.
