Pakistan police checkpoint attack kills 15, Geo News says
At least seven police officers and eight alleged terrorists were killed in an attack late Wednesday on a checkpoint in Hangu district in northern Pakistan, Geo News reported, citing local District Police Officer Tariq Habib.
Habib said 22 police personnel were also injured in the attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, and that a clearance operation had been launched in the area.
