North Korea fired around 10 ballistic missiles, Seoul says
North Korea fired around 10 short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday, South Korea's military said, updating earlier reports from Seoul and Tokyo of a launch.
An official from Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff had earlier said North Korea fired at least one unidentified projectile. Japan described the launch as a possible ballistic missile.
The launch report came hours after US President Donald Trump said he would meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un later this year.
