Nigeria gunmen kidnap at least 52 in Zamfara, residents say
Residents said gunmen kidnapped at least 52 people, including children, in a weekend attack on Kasuwar Daji village in northwest Nigeria's Zamfara state.
“Initially, they abducted more than 100 people,” before releasing some and keeping 52, resident Shehu Abullahi told AFP on Monday. He said his 12-year-old daughter was among those kidnapped.
