Mexico's Sheinbaum says she will attend World Cup final after Trump invitation

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said Friday that she will travel to the United States to attend the World Cup final this weekend just outside New York after an invitation from US President Donald Trump.

Sheinbaum announced the trip after not attending matches held in Mexico. Mexico is one of the tournament's three co-hosts, a group that includes Canada.
