Jordan says it intercepted Iranian drones and missiles
Jordan's military said Tuesday that it had intercepted two Iranian attacks, including five drones and three missiles. The army said its air defence systems intercepted and shot down three Iranian missiles targeting the kingdom at midday, with no casualties or damage reported. Earlier, the military said it had intercepted five drones launched by Iran, also with no casualties reported. Iran's Revolutionary Guards confirmed the first attack and said they had targeted a complex housing what they called US terrorist forces in the Rukban region. The report described the incidents as the latest Iranian attacks on countries in the region following the resumption of the Middle East war.
