Israel says it intercepted two drones near Jordan border; launch origin under review
The Israeli military said on Monday that it intercepted two drones near the border with Jordan and was investigating where they had been launched from.
The military said the drones were detected near the Jordanian border but did not cross into Israeli territory.
It said the origin of the launch remained under review.
Earlier this month, the Israeli military said Israeli and Jordanian forces had intercepted an Iranian missile fired toward the Jordanian city of Aqaba.
Israel has not taken part in the latest fighting between the United States and Iran.
Uncertainty notes
The launch origin of the two drones remains under review.
The source does not identify who launched the drones or state whether there were casualties or damage.
