CK Hutchison seeks $1.5bn from Panama over ports
CK Hutchison said Thursday it has filed an arbitration against Panama over the cancellation of the Hong Kong conglomerate's concession to operate two ports in the Panama Canal.
The company is seeking more than US$1.5 billion in damages. Its board of directors said in a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the claim was for the “destruction of the Company's investments in Panama.”
