Chris Brown avoids UK trial after guilty plea in London case
American R&B singer Chris Brown pleaded guilty on Friday to affray, a public order offence, over an alleged brawl at a London nightclub in 2023. Brown, 37, entered the plea at Southwark Crown Court in London. He will not face trial on several other charges linked to the incident, including attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon, identified as a bottle. The prosecutor said those charges will be dropped at a later date.
