Canada plane hits car in emergency landing; one dead

One person was killed in Prince George, British Columbia, after a small passenger plane struck a vehicle while making an emergency landing on a road, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon more than 700 kilometres north of Vancouver. Police said the person who died was an occupant of one of the vehicles.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone on the plane was injured.
