Data centre pre-fabricated and containerized power module

Bridge Data Centers has launched PowerCore 5.0, a prefabricated and containerized power module for high-density AI data centers, alongside Morong Electric.

The company says each unit is built within a 40ft ISO container frame and combines transformers, power distribution, uninterruptible power supply, cooling, fire suppression and monitoring systems in one module assembled and tested off-site.

Bridge says the design allows on-site civil works and factory prefabrication to proceed at the same time, shortening total delivery timelines by more than 50% compared with conventional build methods. It also says large campuses can deploy units every two weeks.

The company said core components, including UPS units, transformers and precision cooling, are mounted on slide-out rails to support maintenance.

Morong Electric is described as a power solutions provider and developer and manufacturer of modular data center products.
