Bandar Abbas airport resumes flights, IRNA says

Bandar Abbas International Airport resumed scheduled flights on Saturday after repeated interruptions during hostilities with the United States, Iran's IRNA state news agency reported.

Kazem Tavassoli, director general of airports in Hormozgan province, said scheduled services had restarted on high-traffic domestic routes after limited flights in recent days.

Tavassoli said passengers could buy tickets for Tehran-Bandar Abbas, Mashhad-Bandar Abbas and Bandar Abbas-Isfahan routes in both directions. He said the airport handled 35 to 40 domestic and international flights a day before the war and had been repeatedly closed since the conflict with the United States began in February.
