Jordan summons Iranian diplomat to protest attacks

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Washington, and the State Department said Rubio commended Aoun's efforts on Lebanon, Hezbollah and peace.

IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said no nuclear material had been stored at the under-construction Darkhovin nuclear power plant and the reported incident was not believed to pose any radiological risk.

Israel's defence minister warned that Israel would respond with full force to any Iranian missile attack on Israel.

The Israeli military said Israeli and Jordanian forces intercepted an Iranian projectile aimed at Aqaba, while Jordan said it downed three Iranian missiles that targeted Jordanian territory.
