Air alert sirens sound in Bahrain, interior ministry says

Air alert sirens sounded in Bahrain on Thursday, the interior ministry said. Correspondents heard the alerts in the capital, Manama. The ministry said the siren had been sounded and urged citizens and residents to stay calm and go to the nearest safe place. The report said Bahrain was coming under daily Iranian attacks. It did not say whether an attack had struck Bahrain at the time of the alert, or whether there were casualties or damage.
