Trump says US ending $3.8bn Israel security aid
US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Washington is ending a 10-year security assistance deal with Israel that was supposed to provide $3.8 billion a year to its ally until 2028.
Trump said Israel was "fine" with him ending the assistance. "We'll help Israel if they need it," he added.
The assistance began in 2019 under a memorandum of understanding brokered three years earlier under former president Barack Obama.
