Fourthline and Veridas complete digital ID merger

Fourthline and Veridas said they completed their merger on November 3, creating a combined digital identity, compliance and fraud-prevention company headquartered in Amsterdam.

The companies said the deal closed after all closing conditions were satisfied, following an initial announcement on July 16. The transaction includes funding of up to €65 million from existing shareholder Finch Capital, new equity investment from Seaya Andromeda and debt financing from Ashgrove Capital.

Fourthline CEO Paul Stoddart will lead the combined company as chief executive. Veridas CEO Eduardo Azanza will become president, and Finch Capital managing partner Radboud Vlaar will chair the supervisory board.

The combined business will have offices in Stockholm, Pamplona, Barcelona, Mexico, São Paulo and Boston. The companies said existing contracts, integrations and local support would continue, with integration to follow in phases.

Fourthline and Veridas said they expect combined revenue of more than €50 million in 2026, annual recurring revenue of €85 million in 2029 and €20 million in annual run-rate synergies. Those figures are company projections and depend on integration, market and regulatory conditions.
