Angelalign unveils SuperElastic aligner material

Angelalign Technology Inc. said it has unveiled SuperElastic, or MC-SE, a proprietary clear aligner material for orthodontic treatment.

The company said the material is designed to give orthodontists more control in complex cases by delivering consistent force, expanding elastic range, improving elastic recovery and adding strength and toughness through a medical-grade polyamide layer.

Angelalign said MC-SE will be available globally after the appropriate registrations are received. Chief executive Fox Hu said the material was the result of seven years of research, testing and manufacturing optimisation.

The company said it plans to build MC-SE into a material platform with different variations for different force effects.
