Trump trust bought millions in Meta, SpaceX securities
The trust holding US President Donald Trump's assets bought between $5 million and $25 million in Meta shares and between $1 million and $5 million in SpaceX bonds in August, according to a filing posted Thursday by the Office of Government Ethics.
The filing showed the Meta purchases were the largest of any company listed. It also listed smaller stakes in data center operators CoreWeave, American Tower and Cogent Communications, with the American Tower stake valued at between $51,000 and $115,000.
Other technology companies on the list included Nvidia and Microsoft. The filing showed 517 transactions by the trust in August.
Trump's assets are held in a trust administered by his son Donald Trump Jr. The trust is managed independently, and SpaceX has US government contracts.
