Pope Leo XIV South America trip confirmed by Vatican

The Vatican said on Oct. 26 that Pope Leo XIV's trip to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru from Nov. 6 to 17, 2026, will go ahead as previously planned, nearly two weeks after his lung-cancer surgery.

The Holy See Press Office said the Apostolic Journey would proceed according to the programme already published.
