Netanyahu says Trump tie can eliminate Iran threat

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that his close relationship with US President Donald Trump would help them “eliminate the Iranian threat” if he wins a tight election race, shortly after Trump endorsed him.

In a video released by Netanyahu's Likud party, he urged voters to heed Trump's words. Netanyahu said “we have crushed Iran” and that their partnership “will continue in order to eliminate the Iranian threat over the next two years, or even sooner.”
