Mexico journalist killed, ninth this year, NGO says
A journalist in Mexico was shot dead on Friday, becoming the ninth journalist killed in the country this year, human rights NGO Article 19 said.
Article 19 identified him as Hamurabi Huesca Manzano, owner of a news website with more than 52,000 followers. The NGO said he was gunned down in Oaxaca state in southern Mexico.
The killing was added to a tally of journalist homicides tracked by Reporters Without Borders.
