Macron urges diesel action without export curbs
French President Emmanuel Macron urged G7 countries to act together on a diesel shortage without export restrictions, the Elysee said Friday after a call with US President Donald Trump.
The French presidency said Macron stressed that G7 countries had a common interest in coordinated action to ease fuel prices. The remarks came as Trump suggested tapping Europe's strategic diesel reserves and backed curbs on US gas exports.
