Keegan Allen says he was robbed at gunpoint in LA

US actor Keegan Allen said he was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint outside a Los Angeles grocery store, posting a video overnight Thursday showing him shaken with blood on his face.

Allen, 37, known for “Pretty Little Liars”, wrote on social media that two young men threatened to kill him over his watch. His post included apparent security footage showing two people in black confronting him, Allen removing his watch and one person striking him with what appeared to be a handgun.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said deputies responded to an alleged armed robbery, without naming Allen. It said the victim reported that one suspect pointed a silver handgun and another brandished a knife, demanded the victim's watch and bracelet, and that the victim was struck in the face with a handgun, causing a forehead cut, before the suspects fled in a vehicle with the watch.
