Israel says attacker near its Belgrade embassy neutralised

Israel's foreign ministry said Wednesday that local police neutralised an attacker after an attempted terrorist attack near its embassy in Belgrade.

The ministry said no embassy personnel were injured and the mission was closed when the incident occurred late at night.

It said the incident was under investigation by the relevant authorities.
