Interactive Brokers launches autonomous AI trading
Interactive Brokers said it has launched IBKR Autonomous Trading, a feature that allows eligible clients to authorize connected AI platforms to monitor markets and submit supported trades on their behalf.
The company said the tool can cover more than 75,000 listed stocks, options and ETFs worldwide and operates within a dedicated AI Partition funded from a client's main IBKR account. It said clients set the instructions, account restrictions and safeguards for how the AI may trade.
Interactive Brokers said the feature expands its existing AI Integration, which lets clients generate trading instructions for review and approval. The new capability allows authorized connected AI to submit supported orders without separate approval for each trade.
The company said availability is subject to entity, country, regulatory and account eligibility requirements, and that product features vary by affiliate and client country of residence.
