Incyte reports new GI cancer drug trial data

Incyte said new data for two investigational gastrointestinal cancer treatments showed clinical activity and manageable safety profiles in pancreatic and colorectal cancer studies presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress 2026.

The company reported updated results for INCB161734, a KRAS G12D inhibitor, in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer. It also reported data for INCA33890, a TGFβR2×PD-1 bispecific antibody, in microsatellite stable colorectal cancer.

In Phase 1 pancreatic cancer data with a July 6, 2026, cut-off, Incyte said patients treated with INCB161734 plus modified FOLFIRINOX had objective response rates of 89 percent and 81 percent on confirmed plus pending measures, with a 100 percent disease control rate. It said patients treated with INCB161734 plus gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel had objective response rates of 69 percent and 58 percent, with a 96 percent disease control rate.

Incyte said a global Phase 3 study of INCB161734 in first-line metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is ongoing, with topline data anticipated in 2028. It said a Phase 3 study in the adjuvant pancreatic cancer setting is planned for 2027.

For advanced or metastatic KRAS G12D-mutated colorectal cancer, Incyte said Phase 1 data showed an objective response rate of 36 percent and a disease control rate of 100 percent among 22 patients treated with INCB161734 plus cetuximab. It said a Phase 3 study of that combination in previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer is expected to start in the first half of 2027.

For INCA33890 in first-line microsatellite stable colorectal cancer, Incyte said patients treated with the drug in combination with FOLFOX and bevacizumab had a 71 percent objective response rate and a 100 percent disease control rate among 42 patients. The company said the Phase 3 NEXERA-303 study is ongoing and topline data are expected in 2029.

Incyte also said it planned clinical trial collaborations with Bristol Myers Squibb and Synnovation to evaluate INCB161734 combinations in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

Uncertainty notes

The results are from clinical studies reported by Incyte and do not establish regulatory approval or commercial availability.
Several trial starts, readouts and collaborations are planned or expected and may change.
