i2c says client renewals and expansions rose 42%

Financial technology company i2c said client renewals and program expansions rose 42% over two years as it promoted growth in its PowerOne banking and payments platform.

The company said its largest client portfolio grew by 46% over the same period. It also said PowerOne runs on one global technology stack, has 99.999% historical availability and is technically operational in more than 216 markets worldwide.

i2c cited client work with Belize Bank, Crypto.com, BB Americas Bank, Republic Bank, Inter, GBank, LAFISE Bank, CoinZoom and Etail Depot. It said clients used the platform for credit, prepaid and debit programs, portfolio expansion and infrastructure modernization.

American Banker research conducted in partnership with i2c found that 88% of financial institutions had accelerated modernization timelines because of competition from digital-first banks, fintechs and non-bank providers, according to the company announcement.

i2c also said it joined Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program and the Open Standard USD initiative, and named several executive appointments including Jason Goldberg as chief revenue officer, Joseph Schmidt as chief financial officer and Candace Davies as chief marketing officer.
