Houthis say missiles targeted Saudi military planes

Yemen's Houthis said Tuesday they targeted two military transport aircraft with ballistic missiles in southern Saudi Arabia.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said one aircraft was targeted at Najran airport and the other at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait.

Saudi authorities had earlier issued brief danger warnings for several southern areas, including Najran and Khamis Mushait.

No Saudi confirmation, casualty figure or damage assessment was included in the supplied information.
