Google Cloud power outage hits banking apps
A power outage at a Google Cloud data centre in London caused serious network disruptions to its services on Tuesday, Google said.
Google said on its Cloud Service Health website that the outage was due to a “power event” and that it hoped to partially restore services shortly.
British banks including Revolut and Lloyds reported widespread disruption to banking apps and online services.
