Eurosets plans Trilly Baby oxygenator rollout in 2027
Eurosets said it plans to begin a controlled European rollout of its Trilly Baby oxygenator in January 2027 for cardiopulmonary bypass procedures in very small infants.
The Italian biomedical company presented the device at Europerfusion 2026 in Belgrade, held on October 30 and 31. Eurosets said Trilly Baby is expected to receive a CE mark by the end of 2026.
The planned initial release will involve 14 European pediatric surgery centers, selected for their work with small patients and extracorporeal perfusion procedures, the company said.
Eurosets said the oxygenator is designed for open-heart cardiac surgery and operates with flow rates from 0.1 to 1.8 liters per minute.
Uncertainty notes
The supplied text contains inconsistent wording on CE status, saying both that the announcement followed acquisition of the CE mark and that the device is expected to achieve the CE mark by the end of 2026.
