Brazil summons Argentina diplomat over Flavio Bolsonaro trip
Brazil summoned Argentina's diplomatic representative in Brasilia to explain Flavio Bolsonaro's passage through Argentina as he travelled from Brazil to the United States, a Brazilian diplomatic source told AFP on condition of anonymity.
The meeting took place on Thursday, October 29, and was a "routine procedure," the source said.
The same account said Bolsonaro had been ordered to surrender his passports and was barred from leaving Brazil because of an ongoing investigation against the defeated presidential candidate.
Uncertainty notes
The timing is unclear because the account says Brazil summoned the representative on Friday, while also saying the meeting took place on Thursday.
