Beat the Bug returns to Fortnite in EU health campaign

The European Commission has brought its Beat the Bug game back to Fortnite, saying it goes live on October 9, 2026 and asks players to work together to stop antibiotic-resistant bacteria from spreading.

The Commission said the campaign is aimed in particular at informing young people about antimicrobial resistance and how they can help protect themselves and others.
