Ceuta and Melilla: Spain PM condemns Morocco comments
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez criticised Morocco on Thursday over comments by Moroccan ministers about Ceuta and Melilla, calling them “unacceptable” and saying Spain had summoned Morocco's ambassador on August 21.
Sanchez told parliament that after the late-July mass migrant entry into Ceuta from Morocco, two Moroccan ministers made comments about the Spanish territories.
Ceuta and Melilla are Spanish territories in North Africa. Morocco claims sovereignty over them.
