Russian strike kills four in Kamianske, Ukraine says
A Russian strike on Kamianske in southeastern Ukraine killed four people and wounded five, Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, said Saturday.
Ganzha said one of the wounded was a 30-year-old woman in intensive care.
The attack came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed a ceasefire with Russia during expected weekend visits by US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. US President Donald Trump said the two negotiators had a proposal to try to break the diplomatic stalemate and end the war.
Uncertainty notes
The casualty and responsibility details are attributed to a Ukrainian regional military official.
