Kremlin defends Nestle, Auchan Russia asset seizures
The Kremlin on Friday defended Moscow's takeover of local businesses belonging to Switzerland's Nestle, France's Auchan and other companies, saying their links to countries that support Ukraine were one factor in the decision.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said “one of the factors taken into account” was that the companies represented “unfriendly countries” which he said were involved in military operations against Russia.
