Israel envoy says son hurt in West Bank ramming attack
Israeli ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter said his son was the soldier injured in a car-ramming attack on Wednesday in the occupied West Bank.
Leiter identified his son as Neria in a post on X. He said Neria had continued to serve in the reserves after losing his older brother, Moshe Yedidya Leiter, who was killed in action in Gaza in November 2023.
“Neria needs a miracle,” Leiter wrote.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded in another post on X, saying he and others were praying for Neria.
