Pakistan PM condemns alleged Houthi attack on Mecca
Pakistan's prime minister on Wednesday condemned in the “strongest possible terms” an alleged Houthi attack on Mecca, adding to criticism of the Yemeni rebel group over alleged attacks in Saudi Arabia.
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation also condemned what it called Houthi attacks against Makkah and the Madinah region, while the Houthis denied an attack on Mecca.
The Saudi-led military coalition said Tuesday that Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks on Monday wounded 13 civilians in southern Saudi Arabia. The coalition said the attacks targeted civilian objects in Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif and damaged seven houses and two vehicles.
