Hormuz tanker hit by projectile, crew safe, UKMTO says
A tanker was hit by an unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, causing a fire that was later extinguished, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations said.
UKMTO said the company security officer of a vessel reported the strike. The British maritime monitor said the crew were safe and that the environmental impact was unconfirmed.
