Hideo Kojima partners with Xbox on Physint after Sony exit

Japanese video game creator Hideo Kojima said Thursday he has partnered with Microsoft's Xbox to continue work on Physint after PlayStation Studios cancelled its collaboration on the project.

Kojima, known for the Metal Gear franchise, wrote on X that his studio received notice in mid-June that PlayStation Studios would cancel Physint. PlayStation Studios said Thursday that, after careful consideration, it had made what it called a difficult decision to step away from the project.
