Donald Trump map renaming mocked by South Park

Donald Trump's reported push to put new names on places has drawn a satirical response from South Park, after he threatened to rename New Mexico as New America and the Strait of Hormuz as the Trump Strait.

The remarks came a little over a week after Lake Ontario was renamed Lake America. The naming drive has met pushback from Mexico, Canada and some members of Trump's own party.

South Park responded by joking that, inspired by Apple and Google, it was changing its name to South America. The animated show has repeatedly mocked Trump since his return to the White House.
