Brent crude jumps 3.1% after Trump rejects Iran offer
Brent crude rose 3.1 percent to $107.51 in afternoon Asian trade on Monday after Donald Trump rejected an Iranian offer of a seven-day truce that Tehran said would see it reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
West Texas Intermediate climbed 2.1 percent to $94.32. The rises added fresh upward pressure on inflation.
