Turkey minibus crash kills seven, authorities say
Seven people, including two children, were killed when a minibus taking a family to an engagement party overturned in southeastern Turkey on Saturday, authorities said.
The governor's office said two people died at the scene and five others died in hospital. Nine injured people were being treated, one of them in serious condition.
The vehicle was taking the family to engagement celebrations in the southeastern city of Mus when it was at Lice in Diyarbakir province. NTV television reported that a tyre burst and the driver lost control.
Authorities said the children who died were aged 10 and four.
