Milo Yiannopoulos deported from US, DHS says
Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the United States to Britain after being arrested at New Orleans International Airport, the Department of Homeland Security said Saturday.
DHS said Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested the 41-year-old right-wing commentator on Thursday and deported him the following day.
The department said Yiannopoulos arrived in the United States in 2019, overstayed his visa and was issued a final order of removal in July after failing to appear for an immigration hearing. A previous DHS statement said the removal order was issued on July 22.
Yiannopoulos wrote for the right-wing US outlet Breitbart News and backed Donald Trump during the 2016 election campaign. He has more recently criticised the US president, after earlier voicing support for ICE. In September 2025, Yiannopoulos posted on X: “Total legal immunity for ICE agents when they're on duty.”
ICE is responsible for carrying out Trump's immigration enforcement drive.

The Department of Homeland Security said Milo Yiannopoulos was deported to Britain on the day after his arrest.
The deportation followed his arrest at New Orleans International Airport by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
