Iran says US projectiles hit Guards naval base in Gilan
On 24 July, Iranian authorities said the United States struck a Revolutionary Guards base in the northern province of Gilan, state media reported.
Ali Bagheri, deputy governor for the province, was quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying that an IRGC naval forces headquarters in Zibakenar was targeted in the morning by what he called American enemy projectiles.
Bagheri said some equipment in the complex was damaged. The report did not mention casualties.
