Ukraine hits Wildberries sites again as Zelensky alleges army supply role

Ukrainian drones struck warehouses of Wildberries, Russia's biggest online retailer, in southern Russia on Wednesday, the second such attack on the company in a week. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused the e-commerce company of helping supply the Russian army.

Vladimir Kondratyev, governor of the southern Krasnodar region, said one person was killed in Wednesday's strikes. It was not clear whether the death happened at a Wildberries warehouse or at another site.

Wildberries chief executive Tatiana Kim said the company's logistics centres in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were attacked and evacuated. She said the attacks had targeted ordinary people and company employees.

The strikes came four days after Ukrainian drones caused large fires and killed eight people at a Wildberries site outside Moscow. Zelensky had previously said the company had been storing drone components.

Zelensky said on Wednesday that Ukraine had struck logistics hubs involved in supplying the Russian army with drone components, navigation equipment and other gear. He also said Ukraine had hit an oil depot, as well as a tanker and four cargo ships in the Black and Azov seas.

Ukraine has increased retaliatory strikes inside Russia in recent months. The source says Ukraine has disrupted Russian shipping in the Azov Sea, forcing Moscow to consider alternative shipping routes. Ukrainian drones have also hit targets as far away as the Urals and Siberia and have caused nationwide fuel shortages.

Ukraine has said its strikes are intended to damage Russia's war effort and pressure the Kremlin to negotiate an end to more than four years of conflict. The UN said Tuesday that civilian casualties in the war rose 37 percent in the first half of 2026.
